This loggia (covered gallery with open arches) dates back to the time when Groznjan was a Roman village. Groznjan’s village offices are located at the top of the stairs Click and pan the image to the right: if you were to walk around to the left of the loggia's arches (by the dark brown doors), you'd see the arched gate which is the old entrance to Groznjan.Just outside the gate is a bocce court, and the local players are really good at this game! To the left of the stairs, the street heads up to the one small grocery store in the village, which is across the street from the village church.
