“No War On Iraq”
Rally in Washington D.C. Here are some photos to give an idea of the event and the crowd that gathered on this Saturday in Washington. Click the page numbers above to see the photos… This is also a diary of our one-day bus trip from Athens, Ohio, to the Capitol — a way to show our kids the things we saw that day. (That’s a “Stop The War” button I bought for a dollar from a woman in the march.) What about the issue of war on Iraq? Sue has forwarded a web page from the “TomDispatch” series from The Nation Institute. This seems like a clear statement of the issues driving the war on Iraq. Look for the article titled The day after: the coming war with Iraq. If you also have been feeling that the reasons given for invading Iraq don’t seem to add up, you’ll probably be interested in this article.
